Genoese specialty of haute patisserie created and produced by Giovanni Preti since 1851, it is a delicious dessert with a strong character like the famous hero of Ludovico Ariosto's “Orlando Furioso” from which it takes its name.
It is still completely handmade today with a skilful combination of soft "Sponge cake" soaked in rum and "Marsala" wine, filling with delicious cream and crunchy dark chocolate coating.
