DESCRIPTION
The main wine of Trentino, Teroldego, is probably the oldest quality grape variety produced in the region. The aromatic varietal characteristics are berries and blackberries, which evolve into a much more structured and personal bouquet thanks to the aging of 6 months in barriques and Slavonian oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Intense ruby red wine, with marked violet edges in the youth period. The scent is clear, distinctly fruity with hints of raspberry, blackberry and berries in the initial period; later, with maturation, the bouquet is enriched with new sensations, becoming ethereal, very broad and at the same time personal. In the mouth it reveals a balanced tannicity, accompanied by a full and continuous texture. The taste is velvety, enveloping, full-bodied and austere.
VINEYARD
The Piana Rotaliana, north of Trento, in the municipality of Mezzolombardo.
