Vintage 2012 is the expression of a prodigious harvest, despite an extremely adverse climate.

Despite the damage that led to a fairly modest harvest, the quality is optimal, with great aging potential for the wines. Naturally, that of 2012 was declared a Vintage Veuve Clicquot, becoming the 66th of the Maison from its first vintage of 1810. The uniqueness of the Veuve Clicquot Vintage collection lies in the addition of wines aged in large oak barrels, which they bring strength and aromatic intensity. The predominance of Pinot Noir and the woody touch bring structure and character, a distinctive mark of the Veuve Clicquot style.

TASTING
"On the palate the attack is fresh and frank. The first aromas of fruit appear with a mirabelle tart, candied citrus fruits and roasted pear notes. Finally, the refreshing notes of green hazelnuts and almonds appear."
