DOM PÉRIGNON ROSÉ VINTAGE 2006: A MAGNETIC VITALITY
The climate in 2006 was overall hot and dry, albeit characterized by contrasts. July was muggy, while August was unusually cool and humid. The Millesimato was born thanks to the almost summer atmosphere of September, which absorbed some outbreaks of botrytis on the grapes and offered a well above average maturity. The harvest began on 11 September and continued for almost three weeks.

TO THE NOSE
The bouquet is charming, mature and deep. Soon the first wave, a dark combination of spices and cocoa, gives way to fruity notes, which assert themselves in all their majesty: dried fig and apricot, candied orange. Smoky accents linger over the whole.

ON THE PALATE
The breadth of the wine spreads immediately. The intensity and succulence persist for a long time, playing between soft and crunchy. The silky texture blends into a dense, vigorous texture with a vegetal and lymphatic lightness. The vinosity becomes iodized, saline.

CULINARY COMBINATIONS
Rosé Vintage 2006 is combined with a simple, modest, pure, authentic cuisine, a traditional cuisine of southern Europe, originally from Italy, Spain or France.
