Foursquare Dominus.

Dominus is the Latin word that indicates owner or owner.

The rum is referred to as the "Master of the House" on the back label.

This convention continues the theme of rums of similar name of Foursquare as Tryptych, Principia and Criterion.


Dominus is one of the last series of rums aged in bourbon and cognac barrels from the Foursquare distillery.

Foursquare Dominus has been aged for a total of 10 years.

It is a mixture of rum distilled in Pot and Column.

Foursquare Dominus spent 3 years in Ex-Bourbon barrels and 7 years in Ex-Cognac barrels.

Dominus was bottled in January 2018 at 56% ABV.

In the Foursquare Dominus glass it is dark brown with orange and yellow reflections.

The nose immediately remembers Principia and Tryptych. It has a note difficult to define, a kind of sweet spicy "spiciness".

56% of alcohol makes it considerably less "sweet" than Zinfandel Cask.
