Designation of origin

It is one of the most significant Valpolicella Superiore in the area and is obtained from the grapes of the Monte Sant'Urbano vineyard. After a careful selection, the grapes are dried for approximately 20-25 days giving concentration, richness in aromas and softness, which find the perfect balance after approximately two years of aging. It is a wine that is striking for its remarkable elegance and complexity.

VINEYARDS
Monte Sant'Urbano property, in the municipality of Fumane. Located on a hill at an altitude between 280 and 350 m./a.s.l. - high average age of the vineyards.

VINES
Corvina Veronese and Corvinone 75%,
Rondinella 20%,
Molinara 5%.

WINEMAKING
Manual harvest and subsequent drying of the grapes for 25/30 days. In November pressing and subsequent fermentation with maceration.

AGING
24 months in 500 l French oak barrels. Bottle refinement for 6 months.

ALCOHOLIC CONTENT
13.5% vol.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Intense ruby red color with a broad and enveloping bouquet of fruit and aromatic herb aromas.
Spicy hints, solid and decisive palate, soft and elegant.

GASTRONOMIC PAIRING
It goes perfectly with all grilled red meats, braised meats, roasts and cheeses.
