6 BOTTLES X 75cl.

The Cuvee Saint Petersburg is the historic champagne of the maison, dedicated to Barbe Nicole Ponsardin, better known as Madame Clicquot, widow Ponsardin who exported it to Russia despite the continental block that immobilized the Europe of the time, succeeding in 1814, to reach in Saint Petersburg his champagne.

It was so incredibly successful that the Russian nobility began to consider it as the non plus ultra of drinks.

It is produced with a predominance of Pinot Noir, which gives it a strong character, while Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier give it softness and elegance.

The St. Petersburg is characterized by an intense straw yellow color, with golden reflections and very fine bubbles. The nose opens with a bouquet of ripe fruits, enriched with elegant brioche aromas, almond brittle and sweet spicy notes. The palate is pleasantly round, with a perfect balance between softness, acidity and flavor.

Perfect to accompany aperitifs, dishes based on fish, shellfish and seafood, it is ideal in combination with first courses, vegetables and aged cheeses.
