COLOR A colorful dress of golden reflections.

PERFUME Rich and complex. On opening, notes of ripe fruit, fruit jellies and almond paste are complemented by aromas of mirabelle plum and vine peach.

TASTE The elegance of fruit is associated with its gluttony: flavors of pear, fresh almonds and tarte Tatin are distinguished by the uniqueness of a chiseled and mineral Pinot Noir with notes of citrus and candied lemon. A velvety persistence in the mouth with a salty note in the finish.

TASTING NOTES In 2013, the Champagne region faced unique weather conditions with a long winter punctuated by snow and frost, it was one of the latest harvests since 1988. Despite these turbulent circumstances, Champagne Bollinger transformed the wine from this particularly late harvest in one year and, in doing so, has also made a limited edition: B13, which stands for Bollinger 2013. It is thanks to the ethical agricultural practices that Bollinger employs in the vineyard that the Champagne House constantly benefits from undeniably high quality grapes, no matter how difficult certain vintages may be. This vintage Blanc de Noirs champagne embodies the excellence of the Bollinger vineyards on the Montage de Reims and is a tribute to the enological and environmental values ​​held by Champagne Bollinger. Bollinger is famous for its Pinot Noir, so it's no wonder that its distinctive rich, open style shines through. The wonderful smoky, nutty and caramel tones imparted by Bollinger's distinct aging are already present and the reserve wines, aged up to 7 years in magnums, add to its exceptional aromatic intensity. Dosage: 6 grams per liter. Bollinger B13 was only produced in 75 cl format. The gift box is 100% recyclable, consisting mainly of recycled materials.

DESCRIPTION The Bollinger maison is located in Ay, one of the historic towns in the heart of Champagne and the quality of its wines is universally recognized, even by competitors. Thanks to the privileged position of the vineyards, and to a deep ethics of quality, the Maison Bollinger quickly acquires an international reputation thanks to the style and quality of its Champagne wines. In 1992 the Ethics and Quality Charter was drawn up on which all the methods and principles defended by the Maison Bollinger are written down. The Bollinger vineyards satisfy 70% of its grape requirements, extend over an area of ​​160 hectares located essentially within the confines of the grands crus and premiers crus champenois. The remaining 30% comes from selected grapes purchased by other winemakers within the perimeter of the grands and premiers crus. Maison Bollinger uses only the wine coming from the first pressing, reselling the second presses. The Bollinger style is based on pinot noir, coming mainly from the prestigious territories of Aÿ, Bouzy and Verzenay. Its typicality gives the wines richness, vinousness and roundness. The grands crus and premiers crus enter in their entirety in the composition of the assembly of the Grande Année and for 80% in that of the Special Cuvée. They bring their structure and complexity to Bollinger wines. The reserve wines are stored in magnums with corks under a light foam, cru by cru, vine by vine, year by year. This unique method in Champagne allows the Maison Bollinger to keep its reserve wines for many years while preserving their freshness and character. Thus having a real wine shop, the Maison Bollinger can choose with great precision the cru, the grape variety and the vintage that will best ensure continuity in the Special Cuvée assembly.
