WE CELEBRATE THE NEW VINTAGE, VEUVE CLICQUOT LA GRANDE DAME 2012 BY YAYOI KUSAMA
Iconic Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama sends a message of optimism to the whole world with a unique, joyful and colorful creation made especially for Veuve Clicquot.
It is with her iconic symbols of her that Yayoi Kusama adorns the box and bottle of La Grande Dame 2012. Her opulent flower symbolizes life, love and peace. The polka dots, Yayoi Kusama's signature motifs, are reworked like tiny champagne bubbles to embody La Grande Dame 2012.
MADAME CLICQUOT AND YAYOI KUSAMA. A GREAT COLLABORATION
Previously, in 2006, Yayoi Kusama had already played with her famous polka dots by giving new life to Madame Clicquot's original portrait for an auction in Tokyo. Thus, the dialogue between the artist and the Maison has never stopped and has reached another milestone as regards its most stimulating and sharing methods.
LA GRANDE DAME 2012: THE GLORY OF PINOT NOIR
Madame Clicquot believed that Pinot Noir encompasses the widest range of expressions and potential to create the best champagne.
"Our black grapes give the best white wines."
La Grande Dame is a showcase of the Maison's excellence. It perfectly expresses her love for Pinot Noir, which, since the 2008 vintage, has represented over 90% of the blend.
