The Montenisa estate is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the village of Calino, near Lake Iseo. The vineyards surrounding the villa owned by the Maggi family have been the heart of the production of Marchese Antinori Franciacorta since 1999.

The wine
Marchese Antinori Rosé was created to best express the peculiarities of Pinot Noir through a great personality and intense and vibrant aromas. The long stay on the lees enhances the characteristics of this wine, with its pale onion skin colour, creamy froth and fine and persistent perlage. The nose is fragrant and decisive, distinguished by the unmistakable peculiarity of Pinot Noir, with slight hints of dried wild flowers. On the palate it is characterized by its freshness in perfect balance with the structure; a wine of remarkable harmony and elegance.

Vinification
The 'flower' must was subjected to the first alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation in the bottle in contact with the lees took place over the following 24 months.

Tasting notes
Pale onion skin colour, creamy foam with fine and persistent perlage. On an aromatic level it is fragrant and decisive, distinguished by the unmistakable peculiarity of Pinot Noir, with vague hints of dried wild flowers. On the palate it is characterized by its freshness in perfect balance with the structure, for a result of remarkable harmony and elegance.

between 7 and 9°C
Pairings and consumption occasion:
The balance and harmony of this rosé make it the ideal companion for a dinner based on shellfish, pigeon and white meat in general. Due to its versatility, the combinations with desserts based on berries and medium-bitter chocolate are also interesting.
