Description
To the best apricots from our orchards in Alba and Langhe, harvested at the right point of ripeness and processed after a few hours, we add the natural "light" syrup made with water and cane sugar.

In this way a preserved product is obtained with the same characteristics of the fresh product with unique organoleptic properties and which enhances the particular flavor of this particular variety of apricot.

They are excellent to be tasted naturally, simply by opening the jar or to prepare delicious desserts, or on ice cream.

The syrup is great to drink!

Varietal characteristics
Apricots are the fruits of a tree belonging to the Rosaceae family, subfamily Prunoideae, most likely originating from the Irano-Caucasian area, hence the botanical name of Prunus armeniaca.

It has smooth, heart-shaped leaves and flowers, consisting of five white petals, which in early spring sprout copiously, preceding the leaves. The trunk has a reddish color, as the shoots and branches darken and become covered with cracks as they age.

The fruits are either elongated or rounded with the skin ranging from light yellow to orange.

The pulp is tender and juicy, rich in vitamin A, suitable for the production of fruit in syrup, candied fruit and jams.

Production process
The entire production process is carried out manually according to the ancient peasant tradition of home-made fruit in syrup in jars to be consumed in the winter-spring period, in the absence of the fresh product.
