La Velier and La Maison & Velier return to the authentic tradition of blenders.
Between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the blenders of the Tropics created rum from blends of which
the composition was never revealed - just think of Myers's and John Wray Nephew. Later, for reasons of
business, the independent bottlers moved to Europe to create their blends.
With this selection, Luca Gargano, Velier and La Maison & Velier further consolidate their role as real
and its dependent bottlers, creating blends that are produced and aged entirely in the distilleries
same.
The first selection concerns Papalin Jamaica: the result of a 100% pot still blend from two very famous ones
Jamaican distilleries, in which they were produced and aged until bottling.

PAPALIN 7 YO 47% - Very balanced, it has a fruity, medicinal, mentholated, vanilla, cre-
mosa and herbaceous at the same time.
