WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Raconteur is the most aged release Foursquare has done so far with Velier.

The name pays homage to two great "raconteurs" of the world of rum: Luca himself and the late Stephen Remsberg, a great collector who passed away last December. Also in this case it is a Single Blended Rum, as is customary for Foursquare.

The rum is made from a blend of double retort copper pot stills and the traditional twin column coffee still, before being placed in the barrels. The result is therefore a blend of two rums: single and double matured. The former was aged for 17 years in ex-bourbon barrels, while the latter was initially aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and then aged for another 12 years in an ex-Sherry Oloroso barrel.
