VILLA BUCCI Red - Rosso Piceno DOC


GRAPES: blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese with a prevalence of Montepulciano. It comes only from our over 50-year-old vineyards.

VINIFICATION: we vinify the two grapes separately. The vinification is classic from red. The wines stay on the skins for 10/12 days. The assembly is done before bottling. Aging for at least two years in 25 and 40 hl Slavonian oak barrels. and at least 6 months in the bottle.

CHARACTERISTICS: Villa Bucci Rosso joins our other Rosso Piceno PONGELLI. It is a more rigorous wine than Pongelli, in which, however, elegance continues to prevail over power.

Thin profile and of great finesse, with sweet aromas of fresh and slightly spiced fruit. Soft and balanced taste, with a pleasantly dry finish.

PAIRINGS: all types of meat and game. Fish with complex cooking. Medium-aged cheeses.

GRADE: 13.5%

SERVING TEMPERATURE: room temperature, even slightly cooled.
