THE VINTAGE
Characterized by a mild winter and a cold spring (which limited vegetative growth), heavy rains in May (which limited photosynthesis and flowering) and two hailstorms in June which produced a drastic reduction in yields.

THE WINE
One of the most incredible BdBs made so far. A mix of finesse and freshness typical of wines from cold years and of body and concentration, a legacy of the reduction in yields due to the two great phenomena in June. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, then aged for 7 months in barrique. Spontaneous and complete malolactic. No glueing, stabilization and filtration. Second fermentation with grape sugar and refinement in bottle sur lattes for 66 months. Our best expression of Chardonnay made to date.
