Red Casemate

Like most Bibi Graetz labels, the name Casamatta is very evocative: Casamatta reflects the freshness, transparency in color and power of the red fruits of this Sangiovese entirely vinified in steel to preserve its vibrant and pleasant nature.

Vinification and refinement

The grapes for the red Casamatta come from the youngest vineyards between the north of Florence and the south of Siena. The fermentation, which lasts about seven days, takes place in steel vats so as to keep all the aromas of the Sangiovese intact.
