The Maison de champagne Veuve Clicquot presents the third edition of the Extra Brut Extra Old collection. Veuve Clicquot has an exceptional oenological heritage, one of the largest and most varied collections of reserve wines from the Champagne regions (between 400 and 500 wines).
TASTING NOTES
The purity of the Cuvée Extra Brut Extra Old 3 by Veuve Clicquot can be best appreciated when combined with a balanced cuisine full of freshness, for example, vegetables with first fruits, iodized products, such as fresh seaweed and shellfish, or fresh aromatic herbs.

In 2021, faithful to its art of blending, the Maison enriches its Extra Brut Extra Old collection with a new cuvée consisting of 8 years selected from its most prestigious reserve wines: 1990, 1998, 1999, 2008, 2009, 2012 , 2013 and 2014. This wine benefits from a double maturation. A first time in vats on the lees for several years, then another 3 years in the cellar before disgorgement, adding structure and aromatic complexity.

On the nose, Extra Brut Extra Old 3 reveals aromas of white flowers, lemon citrus, white fruits and opens with notes of bread dough and orange peel. The first time in the mouth it reveals great freshness, then comes complexity and depth.
