It is common to think that more structured wines are born from clayey soil: this is not the case in Roccatederighi.

Here is the "dell'Asina" vineyard from which our Cabernet Franc is born, on clay-rich soil marked by the typical limestone rocks of galestro and palombini. Thanks to this uniqueness of the soil, a Cabernet Franc is born which is an expression of the pure fruit. It is identifying, sincere and vibrant.

Cabernet Franc Ampelaia is characterized by an energetic, typically varietal minty note in harmony with fresh and never boring fruit. The mineral notes on the finish are persistent and invite you to drink more.

An exemplary wine to make people understand what Cabernet Franc is and how it can be best expressed in Alta Maremma Tuscany.
