It is the traditional sweet dessert red wine of Valpolicella. The ancient Veronese Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, chosen in the hills, in the winter months rest on bamboo trellises in the drying rooms. From the concentrated bunches a fragrant and fruity wine is born, round and refined, with an admirable balance between alcohol, sugar and structure.

VINES: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara.

ORGANOLEPTIC NOTES: Appearance: impenetrable ruby ​​red. Smell: cooked cherry and fruit in alcohol.

Palate: complex and pleasant alternation of sweetness and acidity. Long finish.

PAIRING: Pleasant for the conversation at the end of the meal. It goes well with rustic and fruit desserts, dry desserts, short pastry or pandoro. Also suitable for gorgonzola cheese.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: Alcohol 14% vol.

LIFE ON THE SHELF: 20 years. 5 years maintaining the sweet-fruity style. With aging it acquires ripe and spicy aromas until it becomes similar to Porto after 15-18 years.
