The Langhe DOC Nebbiolo Massolino is a good way to approach this prestigious grape variety, but also a real pleasure for those who are already experts and are looking for a balanced and authentic expression.

Soil type: medium texture, tending towards calcareous.

Vinification and aging: classic wine, produced with medium-long fermentation and maceration (about 15 days). It ages in large Slavonian oak barrels for more than 1 year and during its production cycle maximum attention is paid to all the details capable of giving elegance and softness to a young Nebbiolo.

Notes: wine that is strongly growing in popularity and esteem on all markets thanks to its balance and the charm of the Nebbiolo grape.

At sight: garnet red with variable intensity depending on the vintage.

On the nose: delicate and pleasant, with raspberry and violet as predominant notes, with aging very refined secondary aromas emerge.

On the palate: elegant and complete wine, with a captivating harmony. It is advisable to decant it and drink it at a temperature of 18-20°C. A wine for the whole meal, it expresses itself best when combined with rich and tasty dishes, from fresh pasta seasoned with rich meat or vegetable sauces, to red meat dishes, grilled or roasted. Also excellent with cheeses, from soft to delicate blue ones.
