Vinification

Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were destemmed and crushed. Fermentation took place over approximately 10 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Malolactic fermentation was completed before winter. The wine matured for at least 12 months in oak barrels of varying capacities. Bric Turot then aged for approximately one year in bottle before being released.

 

Historical Data

The diverse exposure of the vineyards, due to the shape of the "bricco," or hill in Piedmontese dialect, and the specific clonal selection, combined with aging in large barrels of varying capacities, create a balanced and pleasant Barbaresco.

 

Tasting Notes

Bric Turot presents an intense, lively, and brilliant ruby ​​red color. On the nose, hints of wild berries blend with white pepper, licorice, and aromatic herbs such as pine, white mint, and laurel. On the palate it is velvety, harmonious, elegant and characterised by a long and persistent finish.
