Landowners for four generations, Didier and Brigitte Chevauchet produce Champagne using exclusively their own grapes, sourced from 27 parcels located in the villages of Moussy and Pierry, two Premier Crus nestled in the heart of the hills south of Epernay, between the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. The calcareous-clay soils in this area are rich in refractory stones, yielding wines with intense minerality.

The cuvées produced are aged for at least five years on the lees and contain very few added sulfites, only what is necessary to ensure perfect preservation. The house's measured and sensitive approach is also evident in the vineyards: for over twenty years, they have been managed with respect for the environment, a commitment that has earned them the Haute Valeur Environnementale and Viticulture Durable En Champagne certifications. No herbicides or synthetic pesticides are used, and the vineyards are grassed between the rows.

What's striking about this small, family-run winery is its distinctly artisanal approach: independent winemakers, the Pinot-Chevauchets create Champagnes with distinct character, far removed from the formal overtones of more prestigious houses, yet always capable of surprising with a touch of individuality, a personal touch, and a strong interpretation of the varietals (primarily Chardonnay) and terroir.
