The Terre di Sovernaja farm is owned by Federico Montagnani. Federico learned the rhythms of nature from his grandfather and father. Working among these hills, in San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a privilege for him every day.

This place was once called Terre di Sovernaja, and now operates a certified organic farm. In addition to producing wine, oil, and saffron, the animals are allowed to roam freely, creating an essential natural balance.

Federico Montagnani comes from a farming family. After gaining experience at other wineries, he took over the family business in 2006 and succeeded in realizing his dream of producing his own wine.

The farm covers 15 hectares, 10 of which are vineyards; the remainder is dedicated to 3,000 olive trees, saffron plants, and to supporting farmyard animals and calves.
