Champagne Tellier is an independent artisanal winery located in Moussy, near Épernay, in the heart of the Marne Valley. It is a new-generation family estate, led by Quentin Tellier and his family, who have transformed an ancient winemaking legacy into a contemporary project deeply rooted in the terroir.

The vineyard extends over approximately a dozen hectares spread across several villages and micro-plots, each vinified separately to preserve the identity of the soil and the vintage. This approach allows them to enhance the differences between the terroirs and create Champagnes that precisely express their origins.

The production philosophy is based on a "vigneron-paysan" approach, which is deeply agricultural and respectful of nature: sustainable vineyard work (in organic conversion), minimal intervention, attention to biodiversity, and meticulous care for the soil.

In the cellar, Tellier adopts a highly artisanal style: parcel-by-parcel pressing, separate fermentations, and long aging, often in wood, with very low dosages (Brut and Extra Brut) to allow the wine to express itself to its fullest.

The cuvée style is recognizable for its precision, tension, and strong territorial identity. Depending on the parcel, more structured and profound Champagnes (from clayey soils rich in Meunier) alternate with finer, more minerally versions from limestone areas.

In summary

Champagne Tellier represents the new frontier of independent Champagne winemakers: a family-run house that combines historic tradition, manual labor, and a modern vision, creating authentic, complex Champagnes with strong terroir roots.
