In 2019, Kenya's Nairobi Distillers launched Procera Gin with the aim of sharing the best Africa has to offer with the world. This extraordinary gin is a journey across the continent, showcasing African botanicals carefully selected for their exceptional quality.

While many gins rely exclusively on Juniper Communis, Procera Gin stands out for its use of African juniper, known as Juniper Procera, the only species of juniper native to the Southern Hemisphere, harvested just 70 km from the distillery. This variety lends the gin earthy and nutty notes, making it a unique experience.

Procera is created through the skill of Master Distiller Roger, who has honed his self-taught "secret technique" over 30 years of producing spirits in Africa. This gin is ideal enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as an ingredient in a martini.

Each bottle of Procera is a work of art in itself, crafted from recycled glass and traditionally hand-blown. Each stopper is a single piece of palm wood, giving the gin its unique character.

Furthermore, for every bottle of Procera sold, new juniper trees are planted, helping to support the forests and the communities that benefit from them.
