We make wine, in the heart of Barolo. We have vineyards only in Monforte d'Alba. Our name encompasses two: Conterno Fantino, the surnames of our families.

Claudio Conterno and Guido Fantino found themselves creating a single winery in 1982. Guido's wife, Alda, Claudio's cousin, helped create the fabric of two families that respected each other and grew.

Today, their children are also part of the company: Noemi and Matteo Conterno, and Elisa and Fabio Fantino.

Today, we have more than 40 years of history. We are grateful for the daily toil, the land, and the tenacity of our people. And for the writers of the Langhe: Beppe Fenoglio and Cesare Pavese wrote about these hills; from them, we learned who we are.
