HARVEST: Manual harvesting, starting in mid-September, of overripe grapes on the vine, to create grapes with a high and mature sugar and polyphenolic content.
WINEMAKING: Powerful extraction techniques are used using the traditional press to create musts rich in color, high dry extracts, and an intense marine flavor. Fermentation in cement tanks, punctuated by continuous micro-oxygenation, continues even after fermentation, preparing the wine for the encounter with alcohol, thus initiating the first "process of producing DOC Marsala."
FALLING IN LOVE: The encounter between wine and a small percentage of ethyl alcohol of viticultural origin.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 19% vol (38 PROOF)
SUGAR CONTENT: 1 g/l, due to the presence of residual sugar in the wine.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14° - 16°C
STORAGE: In a cool, dry place, away from light.
SHELF LIFE: Marsala, if stored in suitable cellars, has virtually no shelf life.
