1 BOTTLE X 75cl.

Uncompromising, pure, sincere, the fruit of the finest expression of a unique terroir and the man who understood its character and potential.

It was created in 1978 as Pinot di Franciacorta Dosage Zéro N.V. In 1991, it became a Franciacorta Dosage Zéro vintage. Starting with the 2008 vintage, Ca' del Bosco decided to reinterpret the Dosage Zéro, the Satèn, and the Brut, giving them a distinctive character, even in their name: "Vintage Collection." A trilogy of a vintage. An elegant narrative of our extraordinary terroir and of man's ability to bring out the natural potential of its vineyards.

Ca' del Bosco Vintage Collection Brut R.S. 2010 Franciacorta Riserva DOCG Creamy, with an extremely fine perlage, with notes of chamomile, candied citron, and bergamot on the nose, a touch of ginger and gingerbread. On the palate, it is smooth, savory, creamy, and persistent, with aromas of citrus and a hint of dried fruit in a harmonious and fresh wine. This is the new Vintage Collection Brut R.S. 2010 from Ca' del Bosco, where R.S. stands for Recently Disgorged: its distinctive feature, therefore, lies precisely in its later disgorgement compared to the Vintage Collections of the same vintage. In this case, the wine was bottled on April 18, 2011, and disgorged in the spring of 2024. Vintage Collection Brut R.S. It is made from a careful selection of Chardonnay (65%), Pinot Bianco (5%), and Pinot Noir (30%) grapes, first in the vineyard and then in the cellar. The grapes, freshly hand-picked into small crates, are classified and chilled. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands before being subjected to grape spa treatments, a special washing and hydromassage system for the bunches, involving three soaking tanks and a drying tunnel. Pressing is strictly low-pressure, ensuring the skins remain intact and do not lose color. The resulting musts ferment in small oak barrels. To achieve maximum aromatic complexity and expressive power, without sacrificing elegance, barrel maturation lasts only 5 months. A pair of floating tanks allows the wines to be gravity-fed from the small barrels to the aging tanks. Seven months after the harvest, the base wines are assembled: to achieve its maximum qualitative expression and develop the characteristic aromatic profile that makes it unique, it takes approximately 13 years of aging on the lees. As with all Ca' del Bosco Franciacortas, disgorgement occurs in the absence of oxygen, using a unique system, designed and patented by Ca' del Bosco, which prevents oxidative stress and the addition of sulfites, making our Franciacortas purer, more enjoyable, and longer-lived. A limited-edition Franciacorta, classified as Brut, but dosed at 1.5 g/liter. What to pair it with? Cheeses such as Comté and Bagoss, shellfish, oysters, fine white meats, risottos, and even a delicious carbonara. Because a Franciacorta of this caliber pairs with everything (except desserts). It costs around 130 euros. The lighthouse from where you can see the most beautiful sky in Italy.
