Barolo Gianni Gagliardo is the result of the union of eight parcels located in five municipalities.
In principle, each vineyard is vinified separately, then blended with the others at the end of the vinification process. Only occasionally, when multiple parcels reach perfect ripeness at the same time, can a blend be chosen. It is therefore a traditional approach: an orchestra where each vineyard expresses its own character to create an elegant, complex, yet, in this case, particularly immediate work. Historically, La Morra grapes have always been predominant in this blend, but never alone. The various municipalities complement each other, revealing the specific identities of this Great Territory.
The unique feature of 2020 is that, having begun bottling Barolo from the municipality of Monforte, the quantity of Barolo Classico has been further reduced and the percentage of La Morra has increased.

Wine Cellar Notes
The distinctive features of Gianni Gagliardo Barolo are the effusive aromas of cherry and plum peel, lively and refined tannins. Subtle blueberry, rose petals, and violet notes. Salty and meaty flavors, supported by powdered licorice and rhubarb, give it a sociable character.
