Winery Notes
Our Fallegro was created in 1974 as one of the first vinifications of Favorita grapes. It is the Piedmontese version
of the Vermentino grape, which is grown far from the sea, in a continental climate and on sandy soils, which
characterize it and make it fresh and saline.
The 2024 harvest was characterized by a mild and rainy winter that replenished the soil's water reserves
after a dry summer. Spring favored regular bud break and rapid vine development, while the
frequent rainfall between late May and June required intense agronomic work to maintain the health of the
vineyards. Production was generally good, although variable depending on the area, variety, and vineyard, making
an overall regular year. Summer also saw frequent rainfall and high temperatures, but without excess,
avoiding water stress. Veraison occurred at the traditional time, confirming a late harvest.
Ripening analyses revealed lower sugar accumulation and good acid balance, with average
alcohol levels lower than in recent years. The harvest took place between September and October according to the
traditional calendar. The wines are therefore fine, elegant, and balanced, especially from the best-exposed and precisely managed
vineyards.
