Born in Montevarchi at the beginning of the 17th century, Giovanni Martinelli shaped 17th-century Florence with his paintings and his enigmatic personality, the bearer of an undeniable talent destined to endure through the centuries. Pasticceria Bonci's Torta Martinelli was created in his honor, inspired by the depiction contained within one of his most famous works: a savory cake that today takes shape from a mixture of almond flour and carrots, expertly soaked in Florentine alkermes.

INGREDIENTS
Alcoholic syrup based on Florentine Alkermes (15% ABV), 30% imbibition (water, sugar, ethyl alcohol, distillates and infusions of aromatic herbs and spices, colorings: E150B, E122, natural flavors), apricot jam 15% (apricots, sugar, thickener: pectin, citric acid), pasteurized free-range eggs, soft wheat flour, butter, sugar, almond flour 4%, carrots, leavening agent: diphosphates, sodium carbonates, soft wheat starch, cinnamon.
The following are processed and used in the same facility: almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, sesame seeds, peanuts, milk powder, milk proteins, soy lecithin.
