1 BOTTLE X 75cl
Réserve Perpétuelle, the flagship champagne of Maison PHILIPPONNAT, is made with a majority of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus grapes (66% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay, and 2% Meunier). This cuvée's distinctive feature is the very high percentage of oak-aged reserve wines (56%), which gives it a beautiful aromatic complexity.
It is a champagne with beautiful fullness and body. The overall palate is quite smooth and remains fresh, successfully combining delicacy, freshness, and vinosity.
After three years of cellar aging (much longer than the legal minimum of fifteen months), Réserve Perpétuelle, after aeration, offers aromas of toast, vine flowers, and red fruits. On the palate, the attack is vinous, with raspberry flavors in particular, leading to a well-defined biscuity finish.
It's a champagne for all occasions, best served chilled but not icy (8°C). It's perfect as an aperitif, but also pairs well with white meats, poultry, smoked salmon, scampi carpaccio, and seafood.
