A super limited edition for Rum Don Papa.
Don Papa Rum, the premium small-batch rum from the island of Negros in the Philippines, has launched its most recent innovation, Sevillana Cask Finish: a limited edition, super premium rum inspired by Spain with the scent of Seville oranges.

A blend of rum selected by Don Papa's Master Blender to produce a unique rum in its category, unfiltered and bottled at 40% ABV, the Sevillana Cask is an explosion of pleasant olfactory sensations.
The aromas are intense and recall those of orange peel, aromas of hazelnut and dried fruit.
To the taste we find a slight smoking and a velvety sensation on the palate.
The color is brilliant and at the end it is long and pleasant.
This harmony of flavors and textures is a hymn to the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines.

A union of rums from 4 to 12 years
The last limited edition of Don Papa is a union of rum from 4 to 12 years distilled from sugar cane, coming 100% from the island of Negros.
The first part of the aging takes place in American oak barrels followed by a 3-year period in two different types of Spanish barrels: Oloroso sherry barrels and Andalusian Vino De Naranja barrels.
The latter are used to prepare a local specialty of Seville, appreciated during the summer months.

This wonderful mix of Oloroso sherry casks, orange liqueur barrels and rum was inspired by the historic trade route between Spain, Manila and Acapulco in the 18th century: the so-called "Manila Galleon".
One of the largest vessels of the period that connected Spain to the Philippines through Mexico, exporting various products to the world (including the orange from Seville), but also stills that created Mexican agave distillates.

The Sevillana Cask Finish is presented in a refined and vibrant rococo-inspired design that reflects aspects of the island's Spanish heritage.
