Located in the northern part of Maremma, this Morellino di Scansano is made from Sangiovese grapes fermented in stainless steel, which, once aged in cement, expresses its crispness and fruity freshness.
VINEYARDS: Grapes from 15-year-old vineyards located in the municipality of Campagnatico, at 250 meters above sea level on loose, clayey soils rich in gravel.
VINIFICATION: Fermentation in stainless steel, with maceration on the skins for 12-15 days, followed by aging in cement for 6 months and a further 3 months in the bottle.
Warm depth of texture, expressive nose with crisp aromas of red fruit, berries, and violets with subtle hints of spice. The palate is dominated by an almost citrusy freshness, typical of young Sangiovese, supported by a generous saline content and a tannin that dictates the pace.
