Compagnia dei Caraibi and Diplomático Rum, in January 2019 they were partners of the famous contemporary art exhibition Affordable Art Fair, in which they created Diplomático LAB: a space to enhance contemporary art through concrete support for new talents. Within Diplomático LAB, 7 young artists took turns, Marcelina Amelia, Dayana Montesano, Irene Meniconi, Antonella Mellini, Irati Anda Solay, Fra Design and Mr. Savethewall, who in a live performance reworked the iconography of Diplomático according to own identity.

Selected by a jury of industry experts, the winning project was that of Mr. Savethewall. The artist has worked with the company to dress the Diplomático Rum canister: an exclusive edition in 3 colors. 1680 pieces of each individual color were produced. Each canister contains a numbered serigraph signed by the artist.

THE ARTIST:

His art is profound, but at the same time immediate and ironic. He calls himself a 'post-street-artist'. What is the purpose of your 'post streetart'? "It is a form of communication between me and the public through the synthesis of images, at first sight simple, that bring a complex message and deep concepts".
