IN BRIEF… An unusual Clynelish with a slightly waxy texture: its finishing casks added softness and spicy scents, developing the character of the distillery in an interesting way.

IN A PHRASE… The fruity scents combine with an intense woodiness to create a sweetly spiced Clynelish.

IN PARTICULAR …

Appearance: A liquid sunbeam in the glass. Brilliant gold.

Nose: creamy top notes that make way for fruity and herbaceous notes. Perceptions of sweet stuffed with fruit, pears in syrup and heather honey. Followed by spicy hints given by the wood that intensify on the palate. The addition of water increases the herbaceous note and the waxy texture.

Body: medium.

Palate: A silky and enveloping texture introduces a lively taste and rich in scents given by the barrels of PX / Oloroso. The palate is well balanced by peppery and spicy hints. The addition of water enhances the sweetness and softens the taste, giving further spicy notes.

Legend has it that Clynelish was once hit by an intense storm of
snow.

The frost that brought the storm put some precious barrels at risk: theirs
contents froze due to glacial winds, until a mysterious creature
feline appeared silently.

Resistant to adverse temperatures, he placed his magical golden gaze on the barrels, enveloping them as in a cocoon of magical warmth.

The wood of the barrels transformed, giving off hints of spices.

Secluded in a wild beauty, in the woods full of blackberry brambles
Highlands, Clynelish is one of the most remote distilleries.

It is also the natural habitat of the elusive Scottish wild cat Felix Sylvestris.

There are few of these creatures and they rarely show up, but the symbol of the cat
wild is engraved on the Clyenlish distillery and has always kept it.

As bright as the wild cat's gaze, this Clynelish has one
fruity and spicy creaminess. This distillate flows sumptuously with
intense herbaceous, fruity and spicy aromas. The texture is silky and the
notes that can give the second aging in Pedro barrels
Ximenez / Oloroso. A Single Malt as rare as it is elusive like his
