Why It's Different

Art Is The Flower, Macallan's newest creation, was created in collaboration with the association that continues the legacy of architect and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the leading British exponent of Art Nouveau, and his European influences.

This precious limited edition is inspired by the iconic 1902 glass panel "The Spirit of the Rose," celebrating both the cyclical nature of nature and Mackintosh's floral art.

Created by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, the Blend is composed of a selection of fully matured ex-Sherry European oak casks. The result is a whisky of great complexity, with aromas of raisins, fig, oak, cherry, almonds, orange, and molasses. Notes of sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, apple, and tea leaf dominate the palate, with a long, sweet, and full finish.
