Etna Bianco Tenuta Solisciaro is a DOC wine produced by Marco De Bartoli on the northern slope of Etna, specifically in Randazzo. It represents the new challenge of the historic Sicilian family, famous for its Marsala, who has chosen these volcanic lands for a new territorial expression.
Wine Characteristics
Variety: Composed primarily of Carricante (often 100%, sometimes with small percentages of Catarratto depending on the vintage).
Sensory Profile: It has a straw yellow color with green highlights. The nose offers delicate notes of white-fleshed fruit, flowers, and mineral hints typical of volcanic soil.
On the Palate: It is a fresh, vibrant, and savory wine, with a persistent minerality and a salty finish.
Winemaking: The grapes come from vineyards at an altitude of approximately 700-750 meters; fermentation occurs spontaneously, and the wine ages in stainless steel and, partially, in amphorae.
Serving Suggestions
Pairings: Excellent with fish, shellfish, vegetable-based pasta dishes, or fresh cheeses.
