IN PARTICULAR …

Appearance: Intense and brilliant amber. Smell: dry overall. The nose first comes with notes of wine, spice and wood. Aromas of tart with red fruits and vanilla follow, with a slight hint of wax. The addition of water softens the nose and opens the aromas, without too many changes.

Body: medium.

Palate: an extremely silky and enveloping texture where it peeps out with a lively and intense taste. The sweetness of the barley emerges with a pinch of salt, and then becomes pleasantly astringent, with hints of gooseberry and sour grapes. Once the alcohol content is reduced, astringency vanishes and spicy hints remain.

At the end, the sweetness stands out and an enveloping spicy warmth remains. Finish: long and astringent, with a silky spice. With the addition of water it becomes softer, with a trace of dark sugar in the aftertaste

According to our legend, a bewitching enchantress once lived in the deep emerald caves of the Ord River.

Powerful and seductive, she could make the water dance at her command.

As each solstice approached, she would set her gaze on the river, stirring her currents and turning it into red wine.

As the water flowed towards the source of The Singleton distillery, these enchanted currents gave his whiskey a delicious and seductive character.

It is the only Single Malt distillery left on Black Isle, and the magic of this whiskey lies in its variety of flavors.

The secret of this distillery is knowing how to respect the long processing times allowing each phase, from the transformation of the raw material to aging, to respect its timing, so that the distillate is balanced, soft and seductive.

This rare expression fascinates with a sumptuous character, aged for eight years in wine barrels. The glass shines with hints of dark amber.

Aromas of red wine, spices and fruit well balanced with each other, while the softness given by the barley is balanced by the flavor and the hints of gooseberry sing with a rich and velvety voice.
