The 12-year-old Caroni Rum, produced in 2000, was aged on the Caribbean island of Trinidad all the time, during which the product was reduced by 60% due to "boiling" weather conditions.

It is a real Heavy Rum, the latest product from the Caroni distillery, a rum destined to disappear leaving an indelible mark in the memory of the lucky ones who had the honor of being able to taste this extraordinary product, one of the best rums of the world ever made.

Amber in color, the nose is sweet with a predominantly treacle aroma and some fruity and spicy notes. When tasted, despite the gradation is 50 °, this does not appear predominant, the notes of tropical fruits and spices are clearly perceived.
