Elevated to new heights, it manifests itself in all its facets, becoming wider, longer, deeper, more intense and embellished with further longevity.

SEASON

The 2004 vintage will mark the history of Champagne Dom Pérignon for its richness and generosity.
If the climate was predicted to be mild, allowing a regular vegetative development of the vine without anomalies, it is the dry heat of the last few weeks that determines the character of the vintage. The harvest begins on September 24th, maturity and sanitary conditions are excellent.

SMELL

The fruit of 2004, however discreet, emerges more clearly with this second life. Pink grapefruit and blood orange give way to fig on the finish. The aging of the wine on the lees sublimates the minerality of the vintage in a glorious maturity, emblem of Dom Pérignon: cocoa, mocha, toasted notes, brioche and honey.

PALATE

In a game of balances, the wine evolves between tension and lightness. An extreme, tactile, mysterious and chiseled precision. A character that persists, elegant, on a powerful note of licorice.
