Extraordinary harvest in the year of recognition of Champagne as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! 2015 is perfectly in line with the continental trend of the decade: mild and humid winters and hot and dry summers! The hot and sunny summer will be remembered for its record heat and drought... Luckily, in the second half of August, a saving rain gave the vineyards the necessary relief. Maturation, thanks to this cool climate finish, will give life to juicy, ripe and concentrated grapes! The ambition of this vintage...? Capturing the essence of a spectacular vintage!

TASTING NOTES
Pink color with bright and fresh reflections. Generous and slow effervescence. Intense bouquet of Pinot noir that mixes delicate citrus fruits (Etna blood orange), red fruits (currants) and spices (a hint of camphor). With aeration, the red fruits are combined with honey notes reminiscent of gingerbread. Palate with an enveloping, juicy, concentrated and fruity attack. The sun-drenched fruit and its sugary texture give the impression of biting into a perfectly ripe blackberry. Masterfully sensual balance thanks to the structure, the dense matter that perfectly balances the zero dosage. Slightly spicy (camphor), smoky and iodized notes follow which introduce a sensation of Umami.

VINES: Pinot noir infusion for 5 days, then addition of the field blend in juice: 20% Pinot noir infusion + 80% Brut Nature Blanc juice. Co-fermentation with a final breakdown of: 50% Pinot noir 37% Chardonnay 13% Meunier

WINE AGED IN WOOD: 11%

MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: 30%
