The bartender's job is hard and tiring, for this reason the new bottle of Death's Door Gin has been designed to facilitate the barman
Death's Door Spirits, a company founded in 2005 and manufacturer of the well-known Death's Door Gin, has recently released a new design bottle designed specifically for barmen thanks to some ergonomic improvements. The new shape makes the bottle easier to handle, more balanced and lighter. The one-liter format of Death's Door Gin, in fact, weighs about a kilo and a half and is sculpted so as to allow the bartender to have full hold of the bottle and therefore to pour the distillate more easily.
Death's Door Spirits, originally from Wisconsin, has relied on a 100% American company, Anchor Hoking, of Pennsylvania, to supply the glass. The choice is also due to the fact that the proximity of the supplier allows a significant reduction in pollution caused by the movement of goods on road
The founder and president Brian Ellis said he observed and interviewed numerous bartenders for the development of the new design of the Death's Door Gin bottle so as to create a product that would reduce some of the typical evils of the trade: “We concern and evaluate every aspect of our production because we are driven by the desire to become the best in everything we do in every detail. "
Marcia Polas, the company's consultant and Pilates teacher in New York, confirms: "The bartender's job is exceptionally and physically rigorous. The repetitiveness of the work and above all the need to use physical force mean that each shift puts a strain on the bartender's body. I find it encouraging that Death's Door takes this issue directly to heart. " We are also happy with the new bottle of Death's Door Gin and, as always, God Save the Gin!
