IST FILL BAROLO WINE BARRIQUE
Let's go back in time, to the age of pilgrimages and monasteries, when great routes of faith crisscrossed the continent—from the windswept coasts of Scotland to the Eternal City.
One of these routes passed through Piedmont, linking northeastern Italy to the northernmost lands of Britain.
It was a journey of spirit and tradition, and today that same path inspires a dialogue between two lands: the Langhe and the Highlands.
Indeed, one could say that Speyside is the Langhe of Scotland—a landscape where distilleries flourish like vineyards, one at every bend, each rooted in its own heritage.
Barley and grapes, two fruits of the earth, both shaped by climate, patience, and mastery.
This shared philosophy led us to create our first whisky, matured in first-fill Barolo barrels—a meeting of cultures and terroirs captured in a single, intense expression.
The result is a whisky of rare harmony and subtle sensuality.
The nose opens with red fruits, ripe plum, violet, and fig—wrapped in soft layers of rose petals, cherry wood, rooibos tea, and fragrant sweet paste.
On the base, a hint of blond tobacco.
On the palate, it is rich and silky, with notes of dark chocolate, hazelnut, and sweet tobacco supported by a delicate tannic structure.
The finish is long and graceful, with echoes of spicy wine, toasted oak, and sun-dried herbs.
A meeting of terrors.
A dialogue between grapes and wheat.
A story told in every sip.
