Made in 1989, this great wine is the symbol of the winery and one of the most representative labels of the

Bolgheri area. Originally a classic Bordeaux blend, it became a pure Cabernet Franc in 2001, quickly achieving

resounding success. Its name recalls that of a wild herb from the Tuscan coast, symbolizing

territorial identity and the determination to achieve every goal.

Paleo Rosso 2021: Toscana IGT

First year of production: 1989

Variety: 100% Cabernet Franc

Vineyards: Casa Nuova 1998-2013, Vignone 1999, Ulivino 2016

Training system: Guyot and bush vine

Yield per vine: 800 grams per vine

Harvest: Second and third week of September

Vinification: Fermentation and maceration in concrete vats for 25 days

Aging: 16 months in new barriques, 12 hl truncated cone-shaped barrels, and stoneware amphora
