This dark, spicy red was created in 1994 from the desire to produce a wine made exclusively from Syrah grapes, one of the most beloved at

Le Macchiole. Rare and original, produced in very limited quantities, it quickly became an absolute benchmark for the

area. The name, borrowed from a Tuscan term meaning "pure, sincere, whole," impeccably captures

its key characteristics.

Variety: 100% Syrah

Vineyards: Vignone 1999, Casavecchia 2016

Training system: Guyot and bush vine

Yield per vine: 900 grams per vine

Harvest: First and second week of September

Vinification: Fermentation and maceration for 20 days in concrete and stoneware

amphorae

Aging: 14 months in tonneaux, 12 hl truncated cone-shaped vats, ceramic, and stoneware

amphorae
