WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
A génépi produced from the centuries-old secret recipe of the Chartreuse monks, rich in the aromas of Alpine plants. Traditionally, the flower of the Artemisia plant—which is also known by the generic term "génépi"—is harvested in August on the slopes of the Mont Blanc massif. The flowers and Alpine herbs are then macerated in alcohol.
FOCUS
The Carthusian Fathers, creators of the oldest liqueur still on the market, are the sole custodians and producers of these splendid, world-famous French liqueurs. For centuries, Chartreuse has maintained a profile, quality, and rigor that only monastic communities can possess.
