ISABELLA GRAPE DISTILLATE (FRAGOLINO ROSSO GRAPE)

From our own hybrid grapes, once widespread in Veneto and Friuli and also cultivated for winemaking. They are prized for their aroma: a very intense strawberry scent, which unfortunately isn't fully captured during the distillation process. This is because the Isabella grape aroma belongs to a class of aromas whose molecules are "heavy" and are only partially present in the final product. However, our Isabella Grape Distillate delivers the wild, foxy note known as "foxtail," which is precisely the appeal of all hybrid grapes. A vinous, gentle, and easy-drinking distillate that offers aromas of small red fruits.
