Our Aged Beer Distillate is made from an unfiltered, top-fermented, double-malt lager brewed for us by a craft brewery. After 40 days of maturation, it is immediately distilled using our classic double-distillation system using a bain-marie. After a period of esterification in stainless steel tanks, it is aged in lightly toasted Nevers and Allier barriques for five years. The result is a spirit of extreme finesse and elegance that preserves the malty aroma of the original beer, complemented by the subtle spicy notes of the noble wood used for aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied, ample, and creamy. It pairs beautifully with 80% cocoa chocolate or a light cigar.
