Soil composition Of morainic origin, it shows a good presence of skeleton on calcareous rocks. The texture is of medium texture with a good supply of clay; an organic fertilization every four years is the only intervention of natural integration.
Grape variety 60% Lagrein, 40% Merlot - year of planting 1991 - “Field n. 2” and “Field no. 5” sixth of planting m. 1.00 x 1.20 Guyot training – investment N. 8,300 vines/Ha – 41,000 buds/Ha – Southern exposure.
Vinification Harvest by hand in small crates – short cold maceration of the grapes; 6 hours at 10°C - soft pressing and fermentation at 20°C in the presence of selected yeast - storage in stainless steel on its lees until the end of February - does not carry out malolactic fermentation.

This wine has an intense ruby red color and good density. The nose highlights typical hints of ripe fruit, currants and plums, blueberries and blackberries. The prevalence of Lagrein allows to enhance the territoriality of this wine. The typical vine is softened by the presence of Merlot making the wine sinuous, enveloping and at the same time dynamic and structured thanks to the Lagrein base. It is a wine born to be enjoyed every day.
